Account verification

Verification confirms the identity of individuals and businesses before Live mode is enabled. Sandbox remains available throughout the process so you can build and test without waiting for review.

Individual accounts

Provide legal name and address, a government ID (passport, national ID, or driver's license), a selfie, and payout banking details. Individual accounts cannot accept payments of $1,000 or more.

Business accounts

In addition to owner identity, upload business registration documents and optional tax documentation. Business accounts may accept higher ticket sizes after approval.

Statuses

  • in_progress — information still being collected
  • under_review — submitted for review
  • needs_info — additional documents requested
  • approved — Live mode available
  • rejected — Live mode remains locked
